This English Track Admissions page is specifically for the School of Global Japanese Studies (undergraduate).

For information on the Entrance Examination for Undergraduate Schools and Graduate Schools for International Students, please click here and contact the appropriate office directly for any inquiries.

School of Global Japanese Studies will stop April intake of English Track students from Academic Year 2026 onwards.

- Please carefully read the Application Guidelines before making inquiries via email.

- Inquiries regarding the English Track Admissions at the School of Global Japanese Studies should only be made via e-mail by the applicants themselves, not by third parties.

- 国際日本学部イングリッシュ?トラック入学試験について不明な点がある場合、メールでお問い合わせいただく前に、Application Guidelinesを确认してください。
- 问い合わせは、受験生本人からメールにてお愿いします。

- TOEFL iBT Home Edition is not acceptable as an approved English proficiency test from 2024 admission and onwards.
- The School of Global Japanese Studies does not accept transfer students.
- Applicants cannot transfer credits from other institutions.

First, review the 'Education' section under application eligibility in the Application Guidelines.
If you have questions or concerns about your application eligibility after having read the Application Guidelines, for example, about a complicated academic background, please explain your concerns and submit the complete Application Form for Eligibility Screening by email to <etadmissions[at]mics.meiji.ac.jp>.
The deadline is 2 weeks before the online application begins. Please note that it takes some time to review eligibility screening applications. For details, please refer to the Application Guidelines.
