新型コロナウィルスの影響により活動が制限される中、国際交流の機会を提供するため、オンラインで海外協定校に在籍する学生と一緒に取組むワークショップ”Global Workshop Online”を実施しました。

明治大学生を含め搁辞耻苍诲１は46名、搁辞耻苍诲２は61名がそれぞれ参加しました。参加者はワークショップテーマに掲げた多言語文化社会に理解を深めつつ、ディスカッションやプレゼンテーションを通じて異文化理解や語学力の向上を実感していました。時差や学年歴の相違はあるものの、海外渡航をせずとも他国の学生と共に学ぶ経験ができるのはオンラインの強みです。以下に参加者の声を一部紹介させていただき、Global Workshop Onlineの報告とさせていただきます。
?I was very glad to see and discuss with foreign students easily (by zoom). I felt like I was studying abroad! Most participants were very good at English, and this was a good incentive for me to study English harder. Thank you so so much for your invitation to the GWO!!
?We were able to meet new people from all over the world, could improve our English by talking with each other, and also learning something new about linguistic landscapes.
? Communicating with others and learning about different situations in foreign countries. Meeting and making friends with people from different cultural backgrounds.
?Making groups were perfect for getting to know each other. Making a presentation together really improved our Teamwork and it was very much fun.
?1. I made friends from Japan, Austria, Thailand and Korea. 2. I did not have any knowledge about multi-linguistic landscape before, but this workshop gave me a brief idea about it, and I had chance to see multilingual signs in other countries. 3. The difficulty level of this workshop is very suitable for all students, I can understand the content of this workshop. 4. After attending this workshop, I firmly tell myself that I will go to Japan to further study in the future.
