*IBPは、英语でビジネスを学ぶ海外短期留学（実习科目）です。毎年、夏休みと冬休みを利用して年２回実施しています。  

■ポートランド州立大学プログラム参加者感想■

ＩＢＰは生きた英语を学ぶとても良い机会だと思います。参加する前は本当に不安でいっぱいでしたが、世界や価値観が変わるのではないかと思い、勇気を出して参加してみたらとっても楽しかったです。何もかもが新鲜で、今まで生きてきた中で最も浓い一ヶ月间でした。大変なこともたくさんありましたが、多くの人に支えられ、乗り越えることが出来ました。これから参加出来る人が本当に羡ましいです。是非楽しんできて下さい。

ＩＢＰに参加する理由は「英语力を伸ばしたい」「异文化交流したい」「海外で游びたい」など、人によりさまざまだと思います。けれど、どんな理由であれ、今回の経験は参加者全员を大きく成长させたと思います。これから参加する方に私が最も伝えたいことは、「自分から积极的に行动すること」です。日本での生活と同じ事をしていても意味がありません。异国の地で自分から积极的に行动する事で见える世界が変わるはずです。

■サンノゼ州立大学プログラム参加者感想■

わたしはＩＢＰに参加して本当に良かったと思います。英语力を心配する人が多いけれど、いざ现地へ行くと英语を使うことが自然となり、日本で勉强してきた英语よりも现地で知り、学んだ英语を使っている事に気づきました。一ヶ月という长いようで非常に短い滞在期间の中で大切なことは、一日一日を充実させること、现地の学生と积极的に话し、行动することだと思います。ＩＢＰをきっかけに海外へ行ったことで新しい考え方を持つことが出来るようになりました。

今回ＩＢＰで初めて海外へ行き、日本とは全く异なる文化に惊かされるばかりでした。戸惑うことも多々ありましたが、それ以上に现地の人々と贵重な経験をし、たくさんの思い出を作ることが出来ました。ＩＢＰに参加する人は私のように「海外に行ったことがないから兴味がある」という人に向いていると思います。アメリカでは自分の気持ちや行动次第で様々のことにチャレンジし、経験することが出来ます。私のようにＩＢＰで一生忘れる事のない経験を多くの后辈にしてもらいたいと思います。

■ポートランド州立大学プログラム引率教员より■

In February 2015, eight Meiji students visited Portland State University (PSU) in Portland Oregon for an exciting  four week study abroad experience. The students made new friends as soon as they arrived at Narita airport, where they met students from Hokkaido University who would be studying with them in Portland. After a long overnight flight, the students arrived in Portland excited to see the USA and their new home city. The first day at PSU was a long one! Students took part  in orientation sessions from the university and homestay organization. Everyone learned how to get around Portland and how to live with an American family. In the afternoon, there was a tour of 'PSU' a green campus. That evening after a tiring day, the students met their homestay families and enjoyed dinner with them.
When classes began, the IBP students got an introduction to business practices in the US. They learned about logo design and completed a business plan. Students also cisited local Portland businesses, including the airport. In addition, they participated in a fun acavenger hunt in the downtown Portland where they gathered information about American businesses. The following week, the program included a trip to Seattle where many students enjoyed visiting Pike Place market and a trip to the original Starbucks Coffee shop! The students also had a chance to go skiing and snowboarding.

■サンノゼ州立大学プログラム引率教员より■

Spring 2015 IBP-B at San jose State University (SJSU) consisted of 16 participants who left the freezing cold of Tokyo winter and flew directly to San Jose, which was basking in beautiful sunshine and Spring temperatures.Marianne and her new assistant Niki welcomed us all and Jean gave a quick talk about homestays before introducing the students to their families. As we arrived on Saturday, the students had time to get to know them a little and beat the jet-lag before the orientation.On Monday, SJSU campus was also in full flow with students heading for classed. I was there for the first week observing classes or hanging out with the students. During this time, SJSU students Andrei, Rina and Andrew who organize the conversation club quickly made them at home introducing the local internationally minded students and even setting up a soccer game on campus. Besides the usual business and English courses, there was a new course in photography in which the students were assigned to carry out Humans's of SJSU project by interviewing and photographing people they met on campus. During the first week, we had a trip to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and Santa Cruz. After I left, the students also visited warious sities in Silicon Vally, Standford University, San Francisco and even took weekend trips to LA and Yosemite.
